#ThinkPink for Breast Cancer Awareness

It’s time to #THINKPINK 🩷

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we want to rally around all of our warriors that have gone face to face with this awful disease. Please help us in our mission to continue to spread awareness in hopes of prevention and early detection. Get checked, do your screenings, you can never be too careful.

*An estimated 310,720 new cases of breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S. in 2024. It is also said that an estimated 42,250 women will die from breast cancer in 2024.

*A man’s lifetime risk of breast cancer is about 1 in 726.  In 2024, the American Cancer Society estimates that 2,790 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States, and 530 men will die from the disease.

*Besides skin cancer, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American women. It’s estimated that about 30% of newly diagnosed cancers in women will be breast cancers.

*About 85% of breast cancers occur in women who have no family history of breast cancer. These occur due to genetic mutations that happen as a result of the aging process and life in general, rather than inherited mutations.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Get screened and do your self  examinations to stay aware of your body and any changes, new lumps, pains or discharge that may occur in your breasts. Schedule your wellness visits and mammograms in hopes of early detection and prevention.
